The initial Scottish Fold was a white barn cat named Susie, who was observed in a farm near Coupar Angus in Perthshire, Scotland, in 1961. Susie's ears had an unconventional fold in their Center, building her resemble an owl. When Susie experienced kittens, two of these have been born with folded ears, and one particular was acquired by William Ros
